The woodencastle Wendelsberg was from the start a splendid detached house to the businessman Bruno Wendel. Today it’s a meetingplace for those who want a calm and easy living but at the same time very close to the city of Gothenburg. You’ll sleep in modern buildings, and find the reception in the beautiful woodencastle, were we also serve breakfast. The Hostel is placed only 10 km from the city of Gothenburg and the bus takes about 15 min.
Wendelsberg is a mixture of the 1700 century and present time. Wendelsberg is being run by the swedish organisation IOGT-NTO and the enviroment is a non-alcoholic area.
Good to know
Booking. Lowseason 14 rooms with 1-2 beds. Reception weekdays 8am-11.30am and 1pm-7pm, Weekends 9am-12pm och 1pm-4pm. Highseason during the summer, up to 120 beds in rooms from 1 to 4 beds. Reception 8am – 12pm och 1pm – 7pm all days. We also have a smaller hotel. 10 min by car to Landvetter Airport.
Living A non alcoholic-living close to the nature, 15-20 min from Gothenborg. 1-2-3-bedrooms, familyrooms with 2 seperat bedrooms during the summer. Allmost every room has it’s own shower/toilet. Internet in all rooms.
Servering A large breakfastbuffet with homemade bread. Lunch is served every weekday. Café.
Service Free parking, Outdoor-barbeque, Internet, TV-rooms, a smaller kiosk.
To Do Close to a small beach, shops, restaurants, runningtracks and golf courses.

| Ônibus: | Bus Red Express from the central station to Korsvägen.Change to the Green Express bus. Get off at Kyrkvägen in Mölnlycke. Walk back about 25 m and turn right into a subway. Continue along Kyrkvägen until you see Wendelsberg’s gates. Continue along the path until you reach the main building. |

| Localização: | By car Take road 40 towards Jönköping/Gothenburg. Leave at the exit for Mölnlycke. Take a left at the roundabout towards Solsten. Drive on about 1km and then turn right towards the centre. Take the first left. After about 400 m, turn left through Wendelsberg’s gates. By train Make sure that the bus terminal in Mölnlycke is on your right. Walk straight ahead, over the river. Turn right when you see the video shop on your right-hand side. Continue straight ahead until you see a small lake in front of you. Turn left towards the lake. Continue up a hill – the road is called Wendelsvägen. When you reach the top of the hill, you will see Wendelsberg’s gates on your right side. |
