Mount Ali (A Li Shan in Chinese) is one of the eight most celebrated scenic spots in Taiwan . Alishan is world famous for its ancient balmy forests, gleaming cloudscapes, spectacular sunrises, seasonal flowers and quaint narrow-gauge toy-railway. The winding train tracks curve around the grounds of this delightful Youth Activity Centre. An early morning train-ride is especially popular to enable visitors to rendezvous with an early morning, misty-mountain sunrise. The Centre's facilities include ~ accommodation, restaurant, DIY sites, KTV (karaoke) leisure hall and youth cafe.
