It is very comfortable if you visit in Geiranger first. There are markets which open until late night around the hostel(It takes only 5-6 min. by foot). Well, sentrum(it means downtown in Norsk) is a little bit far, but it was great for me=)

The lady at reception was especially helpful when my partner had forgotten to bring her contact lens solution on holiday. She offered her own bottle which was virtually unused at no cost. The breakfast was also of a good quality for the price.

Plenty of outdoors activities in Alesund, i had a fantastic stay for 4 nights doing some day walks, caving (organised tour) and a day trip to Alesund. hostel out of town (20 mins walk) so not very convenient if you are not driving. Well set up hostel. Small kitchen and lounge room however was never too busy. Would stay here again. Plenty of supermarkets on the walk between town and the hostel- just make sure you have taken the Norwegian opening hours into consideration! If you like the outdoors, this is a gem of a place, not much to do otherwise!

虽然有点远,但可以坐去奥勒松的巴士,但要30元车费。风景优美,可惜我们只住了一晚。旁边的小山坡上可以采红莓。

would benefit from a proper drying room. the warden complained when we put our smelly boots in the drying room - surely this is what a drying room is for.
