Very nice staff. Superb location. Some parts of the building and facilities look a bit too old, though. Please, provide more sockets! two sockets in a room for 12 are too few :( Access to internet (and that implies ALL youth hostels) should be cheaper.

nice location but some problems: staff not so friendly (i.e. I asked to go to the toilet one hour after my checkout and they did not allow me). Not so clean: after dinner one guy vomited on the stairs in front of my dorm and the vomit stayed there until the next morning.

would love to see an oven in the self-catering kitchen and more crockery (mugs in particular).

Kitchen equipment could be better but otherwise excellent value for money.

This is my favorite London hostel. Being in Holland Park means a wonderful walk out in the morning, with birds singing and people walking their dogs.

I enjoyed myself thoroughly in London and Holland House was like a safe haven. I'd book a few again should I plan another holiday in London. Still, possibly St Paul's would be nearer to the museums that I have visited dayly during my stay. CLeanliness is good, that is untill I looked behind my bed this morning to check I hadn't lost anything. Dirt. Also there is slight iffy smell on entering room 1. Not very repulsive, but not quite alright. Eleven beds in one room is a bit much, though it did not worry me as I am an easy sleeper. Finally; my cornflakes were almost all eaten this morning and it had been an almost full box last night. That is no way YHA's fault, but I did feel a bit mad having to go without my planned breakfast. I met some lovely people in your YHA and I feel the staff does a good job in staying calm, friendly and relaxed with all those questions of their guests.

Amazing location. Walking distance to anything and everything!!! Great park for running in too. Take the Central line to Kensington High Street from Victoria station. It's way quicker and less complicated if you've never been on the tube. Half the staff is helpful, but the other half we found rude and actually gave us the wrong information about pretty much every thing we asked about. All in all though, we really liked this hostel because the location and it's beautiful environment. Also don't buy the wifi, it REALLY doesn't work, at all. Starbucks is less than a 5 minute walk and they have free wifi that works every time!
