Sweden's oldest hostel in Öland Skogsby. Here they have received since traveling around 1770th In 1850 the couple took inns Carlstrom over and today is the fifth generation to run the business, which became a hostel 1934th
The charming courtyard is located eight kilometers from the Öland Bridge. Here are the Skogsby Association Gateway to the comprehensive nature protection that keeps the excursions as orchid walks and hops safari. The association also provides guided tours to the Old Skogsby relics from the Iron Age.
The entire southern Oland, from Färjestaden south, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Alvar, distinctive agricultural landscape and the stonewalls give the area a special character and cultural heritage to protect.
