In a typical stile renovated, more than 400 years old Slamčeva farm is due to its architectural value protected as a cultural monument. In 2003 it was transformed in Youth hostel Plsikovica. Today hostel offer 35 + 10 beds, camping area, summer and tea kitchen, multipurpose hall, free WiFi and bike rental…
Hostel is ideal place for groups, school kids, different associations, for organization of workshops, seminars.
Due to its position, just 15 km from the Trieste and Sestaina bay in the heart of teran vine and dried ham (prosciutto) region Kras, is hostel Plsikovica ideal choice for families and individuals, cycliest and hikers, for all who like to enjoy the cultural and natural heritage of Kras area.
Youth hostel Pliskovica is located in a renovated Karst house that includes the house itself, barn and a big closed Karst yard, plented with lavander and fruit trees. In the house, a kitchen is available to our guests, a smaller dining room, a laundry room and rooms at the first floor and on the attic. There are also two bathrooms. In the barn, there are a big multipurpose hall (which can be used for seminars, lectures and workshops) and two bathrooms and on the first floor there are two rooms with 7 beds of boards and with 3 beds of boards, i.e. bunks.
