High Class Hostel has a new location: right in the city center of Suceava on a quiet residential street - just 5 minutes walk from the main attractions of the city. This is the perfect place for you to visit the painted monasteries of Bucovina. Places like Voronet, Humor, Moldovita, Sucevita are renown for their 500 year old frescoes and they are part of the UNESCO World Heritage since 1993. These monasteries are also unique in the world! At High Class Hostel we'll take you on the best guided trip to see these painted monasteries.
High Class Hostel welcomes families and open-minded people aged between 0 and 83+ year old. Also, if hostel accommodation is not really your cup of tea, you can still join us for a guided trip to the unique in the world painted monasteries. Or you can join us for some coffee or tea in the garden, even if you are not staying at High Class Hostel. We'll be more than pleased to be your host!

Opening times (over the year):
Please call or e-mail if you plan to arrive between 1st of November and 28th of February. Hostel is open, but we need a notice. Reception times may be a little different, since this is the low season. If you have a mobile just text message (sms) what time you are arriving: 0040 (0) 723 78 23 28.
Directions
Bus:
From SUCEAVA train station (local people know it at "BURDUJENI", pronounced "boor-doo-geni") take bus no. 2, pay 1.5 lei per person onboard and get off at McDonald's. From SUCEAVA NORD train station (local people know it as "ITCANI", pronounced "eets-kan"), take bus no. 5 and get off at McDonald's.

Location:
Stand backwards to McDonald's and walk up Nicolae Balcescu St. until the round about. Here the street splits in 4. Take the 2nd street clockwise from your left. Walk up until a big fairly ugly building known as "BAIA COMUNALA" (there used to be a sauna here, hence the name). On this building there is a big advertisement saying "TRANS DMV EUROPA". Here you turn left and walk another 150m. High Class Hostel is on Mihai Eminescu Street, no.19, in a purple and white building.
From the bus station ("AUTOGARA") the hostel is only 400m away. Stand backwards to the "ATLASSIB" sign and walk to the right. You'll reach the round about and here you take the 3rd street clockwise from your left. Walk up until you see a big fairly ugly building known as "BAIA COMUNALA" (there used to be a sauna here, hence the name). On this building there is a big advertisement saying "TRANS DMV EUROPA". Here you turn left and walk another 150m until you see a white and purple house on your left. That's where the hostel is.
Rail:
Trains arrive to Suceava train station (local people know it as "Burdujeni") or at Suceava Nord train station(local people know it as "Itcani") from all the main cities in Romania. Time table can be checked on www.infofer.ro Take bus no 2 or 5, pay 1.5 lei onboard and get off at McDonald's. From here, follow the directions above.
