| One of my favourite hostels. The second time I have stayed there and changed plans so we could. Wonderful stay. | ||

| The location of the hotel is excellent. Standing on the balcony, you can see the breathtaking snow mountain and picturesque Swiss village. The interior design is warm and comfortable, which is a nice place to stay especially after a exhausting hiking day. | ||

| Half board. I stayed for 3 nights. Evening meal we had pasta 3 nights in a row. First night was ok but the other 2 evening meals I think was the cooks nights off. Had packet tortolini second night and the last night we were served one small piece of dry salty meatloaf with a small spoon of steamed vegies and plain pasta shells (no pasta sauce) and then directed to help outselves to a bottle of ketchup. A few people rufused to eat it. Definitely not of a quality you would expect to pay for and certainly not value for money. | ||

| The floor of the shower room was very wet and messy on the second day of my stay as there was a large group of young school kids staying there on that day. | ||

| This Youth Hostel doesn't have a kitchen. There was a microwave.
I need a kettle, too.

| This hostel is up a hill which is tiring with a large pack but once there the views make up for the exhaustion. Although there are markers for the various ways to get to the hostel from the train station it would help if they gave an indication of time or distance as I wondered if I was heading in the wrong direction often since the hostel is some distance from the rail (a better map on the net would help too). Try to get a room with less that 8 beds if you want a good nights sleep. Breakfast is standard and sufficant. | ||

| The hostel was excellent - the tiny reasons for the 'good' rather than 'very good' for certain categories: comfort = the sheets (really rough!), location = was fabulous but because of no buses after 6pm, slightly less than perfect, value for money = Switzerland is just generally very expensive so this was by far our most expensive accommodation during our European trip. But overall, excellent! | ||
