Sveg is a charming small town with mountains and the glorious Härjedalen within reach. The hostel is centrally located in Sveg. The hotel is walking distance to Sandsjön Lake, which is a child-friendly bathing.

In Byvallen just east of Sveg are Vallsjön, another popular swimming spot. There is also one of the most beautiful golf courses. The golf course frequented by both golfers and others who simply want to enjoy good food and a lovely view.

Härjedalen is unique to Sweden's highest landscape region, with a unique natural and with large variations between the mountains in the west and woodland in the east. Here you go skiing in groomed ski systems, on a tour or perform in any of the many ski resorts. In Sveg are also plenty of fishing grounds and many choose to put their fishing holiday in this area. Ljusnan is such a prime trout water.
