off the center of the city, but it´s a great experience though to stay in a castle, but breakfast too early to close for a late riser like me

Wow!! You are staying at a castle!!! I have 3 windows in my room, 2 of them are actually window over an arrow slot!! I really like the place. It looks like it's just remodeled. Very clean, very quite, nice staff. It is on a little hill, so dragging the luggage is a bit tiresome. Good thing it's not too far away from the train station. I really feel it is very close, but some how it took me 20 minutes to walk to the train station.

I much enjoyed my stay at toledo youth hostel, a wonderful location, and well run - a very good experience altogether, despite my completely forgetting that the clocks were changing that weekend and getting in a muddle over what time it was and missing my train!

A very nice-and special-place. It is hard to find anything to critisize, but I missed some coat hangers in the room.

The kitchen staff were friendly, but the reception desk staff were not. The large bathroom was wonderful, but it had a VERY small shower in it (you couldn't even turn around in the shower without bumping into the walls). The beds were VERY uncomfortable (too soft), and you could hear everyone along the hall at all times, even when they were not being loud. Rather bizarrely, the reception staff were blaring crappy music out of the PA system one afternoon?! The pool is lovely, the grounds are very nice, with an exceptional view of the old city. It would be nice to have more signs of where to go (for breakfast, etc.) and to make it clear how to enter the grounds for people new to the area, as we walked past the entrance where it said "No visits", and it took us a while to find the entrance, which was, in fact and rather ironically, exactly where they had put the sign for no visits.

The top floor is very hot with poor ventilation. The lady at reception was not very helpful and seemed put out when we asked about things to do in toledo and other touristy things.
