Located between Algeciras and Tarifa in southern Spain, the hostel overlooks the famous Rock of Gibraltar. It makes an ideal base for watersports as well as hiking in the Los Alcornocales nature reserve. | The view was fantastic but unless you have a car, this place is a bit isolated having to rely on buses. overall very clean and meals were good | ||

| The location caused concern as I was using public transport. I travelled from Seville and I didnt realise that I would pass the hostel so when I did see it I informed the driver who wouldnt stop.I gather that I had to always use the suburban bus and that was a complication for connections. Wonderful hostel. Great facilities. | ||

| This was an interesting hostel. We were drawn to it due to its having a swmming pool however this was not open when we went near the end of april. It would have been useful to know this. Also the hostel did not have a kitchen which was again a drawback for us as we had decided to go for a hostel rather than a hotel for this reason. Once we had found the hostel, it was clean and confortable. However if we had not had a car, I think we would have found it very difficult as there wasn't really much around within walking distance in terms of places to eat or to go to. | ||
