| It would be a good idea to break up groups of young males and put them into different rooms from each other because when they are all together they tend to be rowdy, messy, and disrespectful towards the other residents of the same room. | ||

Staff: very good - was friendly and provided necessary assistance.
Comfort & cleanliness: insufficient - 12 people in a single room, 1 power socket in a room, rooms badly illuminated, insufficiently cleaned, you are not allowed to bring food in, no curfew.
2 worst issues with comfort: lack of power sockets, "no food" policy (significantly increases costs of staying).
Security: good - access controlled by door cards, need to show your card at the lobby, need to pass 2 locked doors to your room, free big lockers under a security cam. Too many people in a single room to give the top mark.
Location: excellent - a very central location with easy access to the city center / entertainment, good view from the canteen, need to walk for a while to get to public transport.
Overall: Very basic facilities + excellent location. Good if you only need somewhere to sleep but be aware that you will likely not be able to charge your electronic devices. Hostel response:

| I lost 30 pounds of american belly fat climbing those staircases all day. I was on the 3rd floor. Which what Americans would call the 4th floor. In Europe the 1st floor is the ground floor and the 2nd floor is the 1st floor. The Hostel in Amsterdam had no lift/Elevator. It was a massive work out each day climbing up and down the staircases. With the tall floors it was like climbing to the 5th floor. If you have health problems you should request the 1st floor when you book a room. As for myself. I'm now in better shape all from the stairclimbing at the Stayokay Amsterdam Hostel. | ||

| Every time I stay at one of your hostels there's always someone snoring like a chainsaw and when they can't quit continues to keep the entire room up the most the staff always says is...'do you have earplugs?' which doesnt do jack with a loud snoring guy.
WHY isn't there one of the smaller rooms designated to move these people to so everyone can sleep huh? ......big mystery?

| Your staff was helpful and friendly, but there is a girl with curls that is very annoying, missleading and problematic.
For safety, it is not a good place because some people that is not guest is around looking for information of tourist.

| Great that you now have a real breakfast (last time you could only offer breakfast on the go)!
Maybe it would be good to hang the start and end time of the quiet hours on the dorm rooms' doors - there were few girls in my dorm who didn't really respect them.
Keep up the good work! :)
