The room was spacious with a clean bathroom. It was easy to walk out the door to the National Park. The kitchen facilities were adequate though they got a little crowded with the school group there.

Our reservation that we made via Hihostels.com didn't go through, so the receptionist had to make a new one for us. We had booked a two-bed room, but got a dorm room instead - we were alone in the room though.

This was our first stop on a 16 day trip around Ireland and it was well worth it. Clean, secure and a lot of things to do near the hostel

It's an expensive hostel compared 2 other hostels in the countryside. During our stay there was no internet/wifi and thats something they advertise with and which in these times you cant go without. They should have given a discount fot that I think! And its a bit stupid because behind the reception desk they had their own internet working... But its a good location for a hostel, you walk directly into the mountains for nice hikes!
