| The biggest problem for me was the need to go to the desk to acquire things in order to cook or to watch TV. One had to pay a deposit to use a cutting knife to to get the remote control (without which the TV would not work) The kitchen door was coded, and inconvenience on the first couple of days if you left the code upstairs. I am not sure why there needed to be so much control of everything. It is the only YHA hostel that I have been in where this applies, and I would seriously consider going somewhere else. I need to note that the staff were always friendly, helpful and efficient, but I felt some of the measures were a case of overkill. | ||

| Peaceful and quiet area. Breakfast is a very good value to buy. Wifi is not included and only works on the reception floor/café area which is a negative. Very sensitive smoke detectors so you may have to evacuate the building on occasion. All-in-all a good place to stay at a very reasonable price. | ||
