| Poor location. Some staff was okay. We were given the option to give passport for key or pay 5 euro. I gave them passport for 1st key. Paid 5 euro for an xtra key. Staff stole euros and made us pay another 5 for the second key to get passport back for first key. | ||

| Room smelled badly of sewage, as did the whole small building in which we had our bedroom. Airing helped a little bit, but it was freezing cold. Staff not helpful at all when we complained, saying just that they were fully booked. Asking for advice on busses to get to the Center of Bruges (as one of us had a bad knee), we got a standard reply without even being allowed to finish our sentence (Walk, it's quicker). Old-style youth hostel, nothing to do with the friendly, open athmosphere generally found in modern youthhostelds nowadays. | ||

| All great except we would have liked to have been able to cook. Breakfast is included which is a bonus though, and the bar was well stocked. | ||

| there was an extremly large and noisy(thought they were playing soccer on the roof at one point) group of school kids there when i was there, apart from that was very good | ||

| Really good...but my only complaint was the school that stayed the last night - 200 kids running around and screaming late at night and in the early morning wasnt exactly what i expected...the lack of kitchen facilities when it is so far from the city centre or a supermarket is pretty inconvenient too... | ||
